Woman Seeking Government Grant To Expand Event Planning Business

by Josetta Turner
(Long Beach, CA, USA)

I have a small business called Jomello Event Planning. I hardly make any money because I do most of the work for free.

Now after I had a stroke 5 years ago I would like to supplement my income and make some people happy at the same time. I want to expand my business by offering a venue to have these events I consult on.

I want a place to have the community meet and help others within our community who have a hardship. Also programs that would help a bride bid on a bridal dress or donated from someone in our community.

I want the finances to create a very unique venue. I have a vision of ICE, created using crystal curtains, candles, glass and flowing water from a wall of water.

I can offer all of the services for catering, cake selections, a band or DJ with complete table settings as a package deal and cut some of the large expenses connected to having such affairs as,wedding receptions, birthdays anniversaries.

I will be using outside vendors giving others a chance to make money and care for their families. I can lease an existing restaurant and sell coffee and sandwiches, deserts and have a banquet hall set up for the events.

This is a dream I was working on when I had a stroke. Now that I have the time to put together a business plan and think about how I can continue to help people, I am so positive I will create a peaceful and helpful venue, with more ideas to help the community. Please visit my website www.jomelloeventplanning.com. Thank you.
