Two Disabled Sisters In 50s Seek Grant Money For Handicap Accessible Home

by Brenda
(Indiana, USA)

I am a 58-year-old disabled widowed woman who needs to revamp her home to make it more handicap accessible for me and my disabled sister.

We live together and help each other, but our bathroom is not equipped to assist us, and we need to enlarge some of our doorways to make them wheelchair accessible.

I am living on a very small income and I just do not have the means to do this without financial assistance.

We do not want to move to a assisted living residence. We want to stay in our home. Please help us.
