Social Security Insurance Check Goes To Medicines Leaving Near Zero To Live On

Paul, Looking To Supplement The SSI Check

Paul, Looking To Supplement The SSI Check

My Social Security Insurance check goes to medicines leaving near zero to live on. Just one medicine is $800 a month. That takes my whole check and then some.

I cannot work at all due to my injuries and having to take unscheduled breaks.

I cannot afford a monthly fee for a government grant site so I can't apply for a stimulus or citizen's grant. I need monetary help to pay for therapeutic equipment to help me from hurting so much.

The medicines don't take away the pain I'm always in, but it eases some of it so I can make it through the day.

I have worked hard all my life and have given to everyone in their times of need. Swallowing my pride now I am in the boat asking for help in any form.

This is very hard for me to write as I have always been the one everyone depended on. I don't have a penny to my name and desperate times call for desperate measures .

If anyone can help in any way, it would GREATLY BE APPRECIATED. I wish I could do any type of work knowing I can't do the simplest tasks as it takes me longer to do everything.

I'm not asking out of GREED but out of NEED for any type of help I can get from anyone. I'm watching myself sink deeper into debt hoping there will be a way out and to stop the process of losing my home.

I have no car so I have to depend on other people to get me where I need to go. Something to supplement my SSI income would really help.

"Have A Great Day!"

Prescription Help From The AARP
by: MELISSA J.

I had trouble paying for my medicines also, until I called the AARP. The membership only cost me around eight dollars a month. And now my scripts only cost about three dollars each for covered meds. The AARP has been a godsend for me. I can only say the AARP has been the best medical insurance I've ever had!!!
