Single Mother Seeks Grant Money For Housing And Transportation

by Shanita Ball
(Jackson, Mississippi, USA)

My name is Shanita Ball. I'm a single mother of three children. I'm looking for government grant money to help with housing and transportation.

I reside in a low-income apartment complex. I have no job, and no transportation.

I was in school approximately five or six years ago.

I was in a domestic violence situation, became overwhelmed and was forced to quit.

Before departing I racked up approximately twenty thousand dollars in student loans.

I have numerous of obstacles against me in trying to regain my stability.

I am no longer in an abusive relationship. But I have no skills, no transportation, no childcare, and if I am able to obtain a job my wages will be garnished.

I have been depressed as to how I'm going to take care of my children. I am currently receiving welfare and that is my only means of survival, which is barely enough to survive.

I have no family or anyone to help me in the least bit. I really need help in regaining my stability with transportation and help with utility bills for the safety and security of my children and myself.

Thank you for taking out time to read my story. I pray that I am eligible for your assistance.
