Single Mother Seeking Government Grants For Disabilities Due To Domestic Violence

by Yolanda Allison
(New York, NY, USA)

I'm a 41-year-old single mother seeking government grants for disabilities caused by domestic violence.

The father of my seven-year-old boy is an retired NYC police detective. He's never been arrested, and has had me in court for over five years trying to take my only child away, to avoid paying child support.

I had to have major surgery to rebuild my foot and ankle in order to walk again. My life has changed. I also need teeth replaced. It will cost $9,700 For oral surgery to have four metal posts inserted.

Now I'm going to write a book about my experience dealing with domestic violence, and the court system. I need approximately $5,575 for a new laptop, software, Wi-Fi, printer, paper, chair, and so on.

A government grant or any disability or other assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How To Write Your Domestic Violence Story
by: Don

Yolanda,

Congratulations on being positive about your situation by writing a book about domestic violence and the court system.

Did you know that you can get started on your book without actually having to own a computer.

You can use a computer in your local library. If you use the Google docs service, you can start writing your book and store your text in your private Google account.

Your librarian should be able to show you how to do this.

Keep on keeping on!
