Single Mom Seeks Grant Money To Help With Anger and ADHD Disabled Children

by Robbyn Lafleur
(Warren, Rhode Island, USA )

I am a 40-year-old single mom of four. My oldest, who is 12, has been in and out of the hospital for anger and destruction of personal property.

I need now to find a place to live, but at the same time find a place to put her. Her school can't handle her and my other kids are suffering because she beats them up.

I bring her to the hospital and they say that she's fine because she doesn't talk to them.

My 9-year-old son has ADHD and ADD. I can't give the rest of my kids what they need because I have to be watching her so she doesn't hurt them.

This has taken a toll on me. She won't go to school. She never does what I ask, even for the smallest things.

I just can't do this any more. I need help but there isn't any. I just got a call from gateway in Rhode Island and they said that they couldn't help me either.

There isn't anything I can go for my family. I need to get something in place. I don't want to put them on the street, but it seems that this is my only option.

Please can anyone help?
