Service Disabled USAF Combat Veteran Seeking Government Grant To Stay Afloat

A day in Afghanistan
I find myself typing this story and breaking down. I have been a member of the United States Air Force for 21 years.
My grandfather started in the Air Force and was a B-17 pilot who was shot down over Germany. He broke both legs upon ejecting and found himself setting them in a Stalag.
My father did two tours in Vietnam. I continued in their foot steps. I recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan.
I was on active duty for 10 years and have spent the last 11 in the reserves. I returned to my civilian job with many ailments. They ranged from PTSD to cardiac disease.
I was just laid off from my civilian job in June 2010 due to city government job cutting. I was laid off because my job was not going to be funded in the next fiscal year.
I have a house, wife and a 10-month-old son. I search every day for a job and cannot find one. Each day is disappointing because I cannot find a job. I don't know what I am going to do.
I am seeking a government grant to keep my head above the water. Maybe a grant will keep me afloat long enough o find a job in the future. Thank you for your help in this matter.
