Seizure Disabled Woman Seeks Grant For Medical Expense Debt Relief

I have had grand mal seizures for almost 20 years. While seizures are not painful, the neurological deficits that accompany them make working difficult.
Many employers do not understand (and for years I did not realize it) that seizures cause cognitive deficits.
At times, auditory information is not processed. When you hear a request and don't do it, it makes you look like an incompetent employee. However, if the information was never processed it is as though it was never heard.
I have been fired many times for my cognitive deficits. At the beginning of the year, I went through cognitive remediation to compensate for this deficit.
I applied for job after job with the government because I had non-competitive hiring status and thought they were trying to hire more people with disabilities, but only had one interview.
I am trying to become self-sufficient. I do not have transportation because I have had a seizure within the last six months.
I am starting to earn money through Internet marketing. I would like to secure a grant to help pay my medical expenses while I pursue this endeavor.
Health insurance companies still have high premiums for people who have pre-existing conditions.
Without health insurance, my anticonvulsants cost $467/ month. If I happen to be in a public area and have a seizure, I am in charge of the ambulance costs which run around $2,000.
I do not have the power to refuse an ambulance ride, even though I know they are not necessary.
It is an expense that I am saddled with when people around me become scared of what is happening.
