Robert Seeks Government Disability Grant To Escape Loan Modification Nightmare

by Robert Jackson
(Fullerton, CA, USA)

I became disabled with three herniated discs in my lower back. This has caused serious financial problems. A government disability grant or similar financial assistance seems the only way out.

Knowing that my income from workers compensation would not be enough to pay my bills, I applied for a loan modification through my lender.

They said yes that I do qualify. I sent them all my pay stubs and financial paperwork.

Then they sent me a trial payment plan with a reduced payment. I made all three payments on time.

I called them a month later and they said not to make any payments until I receive a package saying what my new payments will be.

A month later I received a letter saying that I had insufficient funds for the modification.

When I called them, they said that I owe $19,000 to bring my loan current. I was shocked because I had done everything they told me to do.

My kids (4 and 6) only know this house. We love our house more than anything in the world.

The thought of losing our house around Christmas time because I became disabled is gut wrenching.

We are asking guidance for this major problem. Thank you.

Report to and call Fannie Mae ASAP
by: Anonymous

Dear Robert,

You need to contact HUD and report these animals. There are laws now to protect you. Call Fannie Mae loans and HUD and tell them everything. Keep a copy and mail them a copy. Call the lender and tell them you are reporting them to the HUD and federal government. Good luck and God bless.
