PTSD Disabled IRAQ War Veteran Seeks Debt Relief

by Jeremy Grindle
(West Blocton, AL, USA)

My name is Jeremy Grindle. I am an Iraq veteran of 2003-2004. I'm now battling rising debt and looking for relief.

Since being home I have had many health and mental problems stemming from my experience in Iraq.

I have been diagnosed with most severe post traumatic stress disorder. I wake up five or six times a night with nightmares, and it scares my wife and kids because they don't know what is going on.

I have dreams of roadside bombs going off and killing some of my best friends that I served with.

I wake up some nights feeling and thinking I'm still there in firefights and after my wife gets me calmed down I can't sleep.

I have been told that I may never be able to go back to work again because of the medication I have to take and three failed back surgeries.

I have not been able to work for over a year now and my wife and two children ages four and one and myself are in danger of losing our apartment that we moved into only five months ago.

We are also dodging the repo man that is coming to repo our only vehicle. I've never been one to mooch off or even ask for help doing something, but I have exhausted all my options with banks, payday loans and even friends.

No one is able to help right now. This is the last place on earth I thought I would ever have to turn to, but I don't have any other choice.

I would appreciate any help that my family and I could get. As most veterans know the V.A. system doesn't help us like they say they are going to.

1. Getting your story known to a wide audience that could help you.

2. Getting your story polished up and presentable so you can submit it elsewhere, including the White House.

As a disabled person myself, I can sympathize with your situation and I definitely understand your need for help.

I've done a bit of research and found these resources for you:
