Grant Assistance for Veterans
by: Katina from Accessible.org

Congratulations on making the effort to submit your story to Accessible.org. With the publication of your story, you are now well on your way to:

1. Getting your story known to a wide audience that could help you.

2. Getting your story polished up and presentable so you can submit it elsewhere, including the White House.

As a disabled person myself, I can sympathize with your situation and I definitely understand your need for help.

I've done a bit of research and found these resources for you:

WRIISC Patient Eligibility http://www.illegion.org/va1.html

American Legion:
801) 326-2380

Others reading your story may be able to contribute more. In any case, please let us know if they've been helpful to you.

Good luck!

Have you contacted The ARC?
by: tyshawayah

The ARC (http://www.thearc.org/) is an organization that works with children with disabilities. You can get respite care, medical help and work with specialists. Money isn't everything but it doesn't hurt right? I would advise you to also seek state medical for your family's counseling needs. Having a child with a disability can put great strain and worry on the parents eventually tearing the marriage apart. If you are not supportive and loving to each other. family counseling could put you guys on the right road to recovery. Good luck!
