Partially Disabled Navy Veteran Seeks Grant Money For DMD Disabled Son

Please help us take care of our son.
My son has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, or DMD. My wife and I found out when he was seven years old. He could walk then.
That was in 2004 and I had a good job as an aircraft mechanic in a small town in Texas. Pay could have been better but it wasn't too bad.
We decided to move to Hawaii, as I had been stationed there, many years ago in the Navy, and talk about how great it was.
We thought it would be good for our son to live there so he could have some fun in the sun before his condition got worse. Boy, was that a mistake.
Even though I got a good job there with an air tour company, the cost of living was absolutely ridiculous. Even though I got a pay raise it was like a pay cut.
Long story short, the owner of the company sold it and the new owner decided he wanted a different mechanic, although it was may skill that kept the company flying and therefore from going under.
I was able to get another job but with a pay cut. This lead me into some depression which I self-medicated with pot.
Some mechanics at the new place of employment turned me in and I was drug tested, came back positive for marijuana.
It was my one and only violation in 20 years as a A&P mechanic, but the FAA took my license and the company had to let me go.
So I went back to work on cars for a GM dealer. Guess what? They went under when GM went under so I've been unemployed since May of 2009.
Plus back in January 2009 I had some health problems and can't work as hard as I use to.
Longer story even shorter, we moved back to Texas and we need a place to live that's wheelchair friendly and I need a job to support my family.
Our son can no longer walk or even stand up, sit up on his own, straighten his arms or legs. He can't hold a glass to drink without a straw, or pick up a plate heavier than a paper plate to eat.
He gets tired holding a cell phone to his ear for five minutes, or playing with any electronic game for any long time unless his hands are in his lap.
I need to win the lottery but can't even afford to play.
My wife has almost always been a housewife. She has multiple problems and can't work. We need HELP.
