Parents Seek Grant For Wheelchair Accessible Van For Trisomy 13 Disabled Child

My daughter Eleroa is 7 years old now. When she was born she was not expected to live, because 98% of Trisomy 13 kids pass away by age three.
We count ourselves truly blessed that she is here and beating the odds, but as she get bigger we are finding it harder and harder to lift her.
Right now we are having to lift her put her in a car seat and then lift her very heavy wheelchair and put it in the back of our van.
We are at the point where we need to get a wheelchair accessible van for her.
After doing some research, we have found out it can be as much at $23,000 just for the adaptation and a used van can be between $40,000 and $50,000.
We have been unable to get a loan for this so far and desperately need some help. I have started having lower back issues from lifting all the weight.
Any help you can send our way or point us to will be very much appreciated. Sincerely, Cynthia Toomey.
