MS Disabled Single Mother Of Three Girls Seeks Government Grant Money

by Andrea Graham
(Brentwood, NY, USA)

I was a single mother of three girls with no father support, trying to make a dollar out of 15 cents.

I don't drive, I took three buses to work every day one way to my then job working for Sear's district office 5 days sometimes 6 days to take care of my family.

Three buses to and from, never mind the walk in between buses dropping my littlest one to childcare, then over a bridge so I could make it to work on time.

I did this for a year not knowing I was feeling ill. Not taking my health seriously my only concern was raising my daughter's the best way I could.

Last year I was diagnosed with the onset of multiple sclerosis! Since being diagnosed with this I am unable to work.

I collect disability benefits, which is not enough.
