Mother Seeks Grant For Emergency Generator Needed To Cool Disabled Child

My daughter had spinal meningitis at five years old. It left her with an epilepsy disorder.
All the medicine she takes doesn't allow her to sweat. The heat builds up inside her body so we have to keep her cool all the time.
There have been times when bad storms come through our area and we lose power for days or weeks.
So if it is hot I have to stay up and put cold compresses on her all day and night, trying to keep her cool so she will not have a seizure.
We cannot burn candles because it is too dangerous. I need a generator to run the house so I can keep her cool.
At age 14 I urged her to see if the doctor could take out the part of brain that the seizure was coming from but could not because it was coming from too many areas.
All the medical expense made us file Chapter 13 to pay off mortgage and hospital bills.
My husband got sick and he is on oxygen all the time. Now we need money to pay off Chapter 13.
My daughter was in a seizure and fell through the wall in the bathroom. I need to fix the bathroom for her safety.
I need grant money to help with all the expenses.
