Mother Of Autistic Child Seeks Grant Money For Doctor Visit Transportation

I am trying to decide how to share my story with you (where to begin) as I sit hooked up to electrodes in the Adult Monitoring Unit here at University Hospital.
I am having 24 hour a day EEG testing and video monitoring. My neurologist is trying to find out more about my seizure disorder by testing me in this manner.
I sit here attempting to gather important neurological information so that I can try to be as healthy as I can for my children. At the same time, I am also deeply sad that I'm away from them.
All three of them need me, but Caitlyn (my four year old daughter) needs me most. She has been diagnosed for quite awhile now with Autism.
My husband's name is Ed, my oldest daughter Audrey is 13 and my youngest, Madelyn is 2.
I loved my career in science, and I never expected to have to stop working.
I also never expected to need a car so badly just for the basic necessities in life. Doctor appointments alone state the case.
My life story is something of a crazy action/drama novel.
All I know is that when my infant Edmon Delaney Staggs III died from SIDS well over three years ago.
We chose to give tissue from his heart to save lives. Now, we need a caring soul to show that same sort of act of kindness towards my family. Smiles must start returning to their faces.
Please, if you can help in any way that would be wonderful.
