Marine Corps Veteran Seeking Disability Grant For Wife With Multiple Sclerosis

by Brandon
(Sullivan, MO, USA)

My Wife Stephanie And Our Son Logan

My Wife Stephanie And Our Son Logan

I am 27 years old and my wife is 22. She has been diagnosed with MS. It has attacked her nervous and muscular system.

I was a Marine about eight years ago, and she herself tried to join until the MS came about.

I have had to quit my job in order to help her and help take care of our four-year-old son with everyday tasks.

We have lost our electricity from the past three weeks and counting. Now we are on the verge of losing our house in the next month or sooner.

With any type of grant we can catch the bills up, and my wife can have the money to start her treatment. Once her treatment is started I can go back to work and provide for my family.

We have applied for disability and of course we never have any luck with it. Our state health care will kick in soon, but will only cover cost of doctor visits and not the cost of treatment.

I'm not looking to live my life on "easy street," but a little bit of love, kindness, and maybe a grant my family and I can finally get back on track.

We can start to live our lives again especially when it comes to having moments to remember with our four-year-old son.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our situation and for pointing us to any government disability assistance that's available.

By any chance...

Did your wife live in base housing at Camp Lejeune? If so, she may have been exposed to a dangerous chemical call trichoroethlene (TCE) in the drinking water. If so, TCE could have caused her MS and she would be entiled to government compensation.
