Lymphedema Disabled Man Needs Grant Money For Housing Food And Meds
by Elliot Horn

In 2003 I was diagnosed with a rare disease called lymphedema in both of my legs. At first I didn't think too much of it, because at first it was only minor swelling.
Then my legs started to swell so bad that I couldn't walk. Then major infections set in on both legs.
I can't shower, or use the bathroom without help now. I'm in a wheelchair, due to major swelling, infections, and mobility problems.
The reason I need grant money is for leg surgery, accessible housing, medications, etc.
The disease has gotten so bad that it's affecting my life, my mobility, and my self-esteem. I'm always depressed.
It seems life is sometimes not worth living, because I don't have money for my health or the things in life that could help change my life like leg surgery, so I can walk again.
It's really affecting my life. I really need help for my legs. If I had the money, I could have surgery on my legs, get accessible housing, and live a normal life, like everybody else.
Without mobility problems or restrictions, due to or associated with my health, from this disease I suffer from called lymphedema.
Please help me live a normal life like you. Thank you for listening and God bless.
