Jammie Seeks Disability Grant To Pay Outrageous Medical Expenses

by Jammie Jackson
(USA)

My name is Jammie and I am seeking a government disability grant for many reasons.

Over the past two years my health has had a downfall. I was first diagnosed with a disease called ANCA-positive vasculitis, a disease in which only two in a million people get.

This disease nearly killed me because while I was at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tennessee it caused my lungs and kidneys to fill with blood.

I then had to be rushed by ambulance to the bigger St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, where I had to have two blood transfusions.

After a year of chemotherapy and steroids I was kicked off my medical insurance and couldn't get my medicine anymore, even though I am supposed to take the steroids for the rest of my life.

My next reason is my hernia. I have an umbilical hernia, which was caused by it not being closed right when I was born.

Because of this, and my back problems, I am not supposed to lift anything over 20 pounds, or else it will rupture and I will have to have surgery.

My medical bills are outrageous and I cannot find a job anywhere, because of my medical problems.

I know that there are more unfortunate people than me that need a grant more than I do but if I could get any amount I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

You Need to Apply for Medicaid
by: Anonymous

How old are you if you do not mind me asking?

I am a disabled LPN myself. The rule of thumb here is 50 years of age prior to getting your disability.

Honey, if you are that ill, then you must do one of two things. I realize that you do not want to mess up your credit, however, you may have to to get rid of these medical bills. File bankruptcy. Or go to the Department of Health and Hospitals and explain your situation. See if they will give you Medicaid and deal with your medical bills.

They will ruin your credit anyway. When my bipolar adopted child needed emergency and ICU treatment from an overdose, she had a bill of $90,000 and we did not know what her diagnosis was.

Of course once she was diagnosed we had already filed bankruptcy for her. The disgusting part is Medicaid paid her prior bills.

Therefore the best advice I can give is to apply for Medicaid!! You are sick and need help.

The second thing is do not suffer in silence. Do not be alone. Go for help in the future. Try a teaching hospital in your area. I am sure you have one. Just read and re-read every consent form, okay?

God bless you. There is a different way this can be handled.
