Iraqi Veteran Seeking Help For Korean War Veteran With Disabled Wife

by Matthew Turbeville
(Okemah, Oklahoma, USA)

My name is Matthew Turbevlle and I am a two-time Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran.

I received word that a local, 80 year old Korean War Veteran is down on his luck. He and his wife live on Social Security and between the two of them it's too much for him to receive his Pension.

Not only is he refused what is rightfully his, but his wife has recently been diagnosed with Lung Cancer.

The treatment requires her to be treated every day for seven weeks. The medical problem is a burden on them, as is the hour and a half drive.

I am hoping that I may be able to help them in their time of need.
