Iraqi Freedom Army Veteran Seeks Government Grant If Only For Family Groceries
by Ferguson C. Armour
(Dyersburg, TN USA)
I am a 27-year-old disabled veteran with a wife and two young sons. I'm looking for a government grant or any kind of help.
I receive $1200 a month from the Army and I cannot make ends meet.
I have been diagnosed with severe Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, traumatic brain injury, patellar tendonitis, and degenerative arthritis in my right shoulder.
I have severe nightmares, sleeping problems, and terribly painful headaches. This all prevents me from working or to be the husband and father that I want to be.
I do not know what else I can do, and the department of veterans' affairs has yet to financially help me.
I am begging for mercy. I do not know what else to do. What else is there but death? I do not know if I can go on.
My family is all I have left. Please help me find a government grant or anything at all even if it's just another $100 for groceries.
