Innovative Air Cleaner Business Grant Needed For Accident Disabled Inventor
by Wayne
(Roselle, NJ, USA)
I am 56 and my wife is 54. We have two adult kids. We live in Roselle, New Jersey.
I have worked as a career explorer mentor with the Boy Scouts of America helping teens get career exposure.
I was in a car accident in 2008 and have had three surgeries, one on my hand and one on my shoulder and on my spine.
My wife has two incurable diseases called Ankylosis Spondylitis and Osteoarthritis, both of which are progressive.
The New Jersey Unemployment Disability office declared my wife and me disabled.
The medications my wife and I use are expensive. I do not have medical insurance. We both need walking aids because it is hard for us to get around or do anything physical. We use ambulatory transportation.
I have applied for Supplement Security Income but it could take a year before I hear from them as I am in the appeal process because I was turned down because I own my residence and sometimes we receive income because it is a two family one bedroom condominium.
I was also rejected for Social Security Disability because I am past the eligibility years since I last worked. I worked 22 years at that job at Wallace and Tiernan Inc.
In 1996, my job moved to south Jersey and they would not let me apply there because of an agreement the union signed.
My wife's condition started to worsen at that time and I had to become her caregiver.
Then I tried finding some kind of work at home. We were successful in starting a rubbish removal business where I did the work myself.
Unfortunately, I couldn't operate the business for long, because shortly after in 2008, we were in a car accident.
I have applied and received food stamps. I tried helping others to help myself with a job website entitled Marketing Solutions Make Jobs.
The website was supposed to be a way for me to help others while helping myself, but I have limited resources.
I would like to provide jobs for the most vulnerable, like the disabled and the disadvantaged and returning vets. I've got first-hand experience in knowing what it's like to need help.
I would like a grant of $30,000 to help me catch up on my medical and personal bills and $150 for research and development for a product I am developing.
The product is an air and surface cleaner that protects against and destroys germs and bacteria that can cause infections like colds and flu and other airborne infections on any surface and could be used in parks to help tree infestations and the West Nile Virus.
It helps prevents mold and mildew covering the entire home unlike other products on the market today. It also puts up a barrier against insect invasion of any kind.
By cleaning the air it is good for those who need oxygen that is purified. Unlike the air purifiers today it allows your immune system to identify potential germs and bacteria without them being a threat because they are neutralized on surfaces as well as the air.
Because of the special way it can be used it can be good for people with colds and flu.
There is no product that does what this product does. It is one hundred percent safe and non-toxic and biodegradable.
It can be useful in places like schools, hospitals, gyms and gym locker rooms, hotels and airplanes reconditioning the air also parks.
It is needed worldwide decreasing the need for antibiotics in Europe and helping to protect against airborne infection in Africa and other countries.
What sets it apart from other products on the market is its versatility. It is in the process of being patented. Once that is done the name will be trade marked.
There will also be a service bureau that will stock and ship for other companies' products for a fee for additional income to support manufacturing.
I acquired hands-on experience in all aspects of manufacturing while working at Wallace and Tiernan Inc for 22 years in instrument technology and injection molding shipping and receiving, stockroom and service bureau and other types manufacturing.
I have been certified in office automation at Union County College Elizabeth, NJ.
William J Carter, who has chemical engineering and risk management consultation experience with Zurich Inc., will be a consultant.
I will seek counseling through Score, which provides complete assistance with expert experienced professionals in all aspects of business marketing/sales, management, etc.
