HIV Disabled Veteran Seeks Housing Grant Money For Home Down Payment

I am a disabled vet who contracted HIV while working as a nurse in California.

I live in a mobile home that is full of black mold and I know this is unhealthy for me but I don't have the money to do anything about it.

I believe the mold problem is so bad that it would cost more to get rid of it than to just purchase a new one.

I have some land to put it on but don't have the funds for the down payment on the new mobile home.

I am looking for funds to do just that -- make a down payment on the new home.

I have had HIV for 14 years and am unable to work because of side effects of the meds I am on.

I have never asked for any help before and am not sure how to do it now.
