Gunshot Disabled Young Man Seeks Relief of Medical Expense Caused Debt

by Brandon Riese
(Rocky Mount, NC, USA)

My name is Brandon Riese, and I'm 21. I have a son named Ryan and I love him so much.

It seems no matter how hard I try things get worse. And the worst thing happened.

I was looking at a 45 cal. handgun. I thought it was empty and the gun went off in my right shoulder.

I thought that was the end of my life. According to the doctor I was lucky to be alive.

Well I'm already struggling to make money, and on top of that I don't have any health insurance.

I don't have any use of my right hand so I cant work. I'm building up with debt and no way out.

I have a feeling this is the rest of my life: phone bill, over $80,000 in hospital bills, child support, no transportation and no help.

I tried working but no luck. Can someone please help me?
