Fibromyalgia Disabled Woman Seeks Housing Grant Money For Home Repairs

Well I am 29 years old and my husband is 43. We live in a very small community in Southeast Kansas. We're looking for government housing grant money.
Last August our home burned down and we lost everything, and ever since it seems like nothing will go right.
Due to fibro and a spinal injury and a pin in my lower back I have not been able to work for 22 months.
My husband is afraid to leave me home alone due to me falling a lot. He has been looking for work, but he's afraid that every time he comes home he will find me collapsed on the floor.
When the house burned down, we did have insurance. It finished paying off the house and allowed us to purchase another home not far away.
Our home is really only four walls. It has unsafe floors with holes and soft spots in every room. It also has a fridge and heater that won't last much longer. And we have no hot water.
Broken doors and windows need to be replaced and the roof needs to be fixed before winter.
We have electrical outlets that don't work and are unsafe.. We also have a black mold problem in the foundation of the home.
I am waiting on a hearing from SSD so for now that is no help.
A grant would help me fix the most pressing problems, like getting hot water and repairing the floors.
Not worrying about the essential things would improve our quality of life and my husband could focus better on getting a job.
We are running out of options and hope for starting over and getting things going right. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Tawnya.
