Experienced Trainer Seeking Government Grant For Service Dog Business

My dog Dar and me.
There are many people that are having a hard time in this recession and I am one of them. I can't find a job that will pay me what I need to pay rent and survive.
With what I am able to do in the dog training field I should be able to make a living but in the town I am in it just isn't going anywhere.
If I was able to get a grant it would help me and many others. I want to get back into training dogs for people that need them for assistance.
I wouldn't go to a breeder as there are many dogs in the shelter here that have a good heart and would be a great assistance companion for someone in need.
I just need the money to be able to pay for my rent, adoption money for the dog, vet check and all the supplies that come with a service dog.
It is a three-way saving grace for the dog to get out of the shelter and find a loving home with someone that NEEDS their service.
It would help someone that might not be able to afford to get a service dog but needs one to help them feel more independent.
At the same time, it would allow me to do the dog training I love so much, while keeping a roof over my head.
There are many ways in which a dog can enrich someone's life and I know I can help if I was able to get the funding for it.
I have many references and have been training many dogs through my life. I hope that there is someone that can help out there. In helping me you would help many others.
Thanks from Lauren Paterson of Wolf Pack Dog Training and Pet Sitting Service.
