Epilepsy Disabled Woman Seeks Grant Money For Jewelry Home Business

by Arena Daugherty
(Madison, Alabama, USA)

I have had epilepsy since I was 16 months old. I am 33 now. I want to open my own handcrafted jewelry-making business.

Anytime you talk about a business it takes time and money. Well I have time just no money.

I have been on disability for my epilepsy for six years. I want to run my own business from home. Most importantly I want to quit drawing from the government. That would make me feel less dependent on others.

Your help would really be appreciated not just for me, but also my family. I want to show my children I can actually do something productive.

I want to set an example for them, instead of just sitting around doing nothing and drawing from the government. Thank you for your time.
