Dying 40 Year Old Single Mother To Be Seeks Government Housing Grant

by Gerry Lynn FLeck
(St. Anthony, IN, USA)

I'm a 40-year-old mother of three. I put more than 10 years of my life on hold to help our three kids.

We homeschooled for three years and have had tons of medical issues. Over the last 10 years, we have spent over $100,000 of our own money to help them.

This has taken a toll on our 20-year marriage. I am becoming a single mother.

I have several medical issues. I will not have money for a transplant so I will do dialysis for as long as God allows.

I am trying to buy a small older home near my daughter's school. I am just trying everything I can.

I am trying to get onto disability, which was filed in December 2009. I am appealing it now.

What do you do with no job, no insurance, no means of working, and not being able to pay for medical issues?

I guess many people die like this everyday. I am sorry if I ever took my health for granted.

Disability
by: Michelle

I will be praying for you. If you don't have a lawyer, try to find one. I applied for disability too and was turned down. I now have a lawyer that is working on my behalf. The fees will come out of whatever I am awarded. I pray that you are able to get the disability soon and that you find the strength in God and Jesus to make it through all of this. Hold on to Jesus He will walk right next to you and carry you through everything. When you feel like you can't figure things out put into His hands to solve the problems. We don't have the answers... but God does. He's the best friend that you can ever have and he NEVER leaves you. When you have Jesus in your heart then you have the best gift ever.

Take Care,
Michelle
