I am an 82-year-old married Navy veteran who served in World War II.
I have an adult daughter that has a handicap and cannot walk on her own.
I had 2 heart attacks and have atrial fibrillation. I have osteoporosis and I'm on my third fracture in my back vertebrae. I am in a lot of pain.
I pay mortgage, utility bills and a car payment.
I'm currently on a credit card counseling program with more then $10,000 balance and many doctor bills.
I cannot pay my bills because I just can't afford the extra money or co-pays I am currently paying.
I am retired and I receive a pension check and social security.
I specifically need a grant to help pay my outstanding medical bills.
I also need a grant to help with repairs and modifications to my home to assist my wife, daughter and me to get around and function more freely.
