Disabled Veteran Seeks Government Grant To Continue Working

Recently, I was driving semis and my company laid off all of their company drivers and only kept on lease operators. I began losing money by keeping my truck running to make money. I had to let go of many things... one being insurance. A freak accident occurred and I lost my right thumb. It was reattached but doesn't work. I can no longer drive because I lost sufficient grip in the hand to pass the D.O.T. physical. Since May I have lost everything: my house, my bank account, a car, my job, and my bills keep adding up. I only get $367 per month to live on. I want to work, but I see myself going homeless once my mother passes on. She's in her 70s and her health has deteriorated. I have skills in house remodeling and landscaping (trade school and personal work) with college degrees in Business, Computers and as a Paralegal. If I could get a grant to buy the equipment I need and some advertising, I could put myself to work. I have a few friends that would even help me with the work once I get going. I have to stop my downward cycle of little or no help from the Veterans Administration and Social Security, which will more than likely come way too late. I am taking the initiative to begin an upward drive and need all the help I can get. Please help me get a decent grant to get a business off the ground.
