Disabled USMC Veteran On SSA Disability Needs Grant For Home And Car Repairs

Me when I was working!

Since serving my USMC for approximately five years and nearly making it to pilot training, I have been on a roller coaster in jobs all in the computer field.

While working for my last employer, I suffered a seizure and went to emergency care, which resulted in an operation to remove a golf-ball sized infection in the left rear section of my brain!

Since recovery at home, I also fell and broke my left shoulder and collarbone!

While that has not completely healed, I got a severe infection in my small left foot toe, resulting in amputation and still receiving care for that!

I just acquired an infection in the bottom of my right foot! I do not know how, since I have very little pain sensation in my hands and feet due to DPN (Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy).

When Hurricane Wilma hit us, my home got damaged as well as my Central A/C. I got some money from insurance, but not nearly enough to do repairs.

I need to replace many old windows and doors, one being a sliding patio glass style.

Next would be the central A/C, which had ductwork damage as well as leaks in cooling lines.

I also have a 17-year-old vehicle, which does not have working A/C (bad news here in South Florida!) It also has other electronic item problems in need of repairs.

I am also eight months in arrears of normal mortgage payments, trying to do loan modification.

I need financial assistance to help bring me back to a level state of mind. I live alone at present, and feel like a prisoner, due to not being able to function properly due to health issues!

If it is possible, I would appreciate any help to overcome these problems!
