Disabled Stepfather Seeks Government Grant For Vocational School

by Todd Leclair
(Lewiston, Maine, USA)

I live on SSI of $674 a month and I need a life that I think I can get by going to vocational school.

I have a wife and two stepchildren, 16 and 17 years old. I feel that I disappoint them because I am 41 years old and have nothing to show for it.

I would like to go to school and learn mechanics and start working so I can be a better person for my wife and kids.

I don't have much of a work history and I want to learn more about getting started with a new life.

Please can you help me? I feel if I had extra cash I could go to vocational school and learn a trade. I could get a job and get off SSI and be somebody.
