Disabled Sisters Seek Government Grant Money For Home And Transportation

by Addie Heath
(Calhoun, Georgia, USA)

My sister and I are disabled and in power wheelchairs. It takes all the money we get from our monthly checks to pay our bills.

Our heating and air units have stopped working. We've been heating with space heaters. They help but when it gets really cold you have to hug the heater.

I have two boys. One is 17 and about to graduate in May. My other son is 11, turning 12 in august. I'm very proud of my boys. They are my life. They come first in everything I do next to God.

We would love to get away to go places. I have to get other people to go to town for us. When we do get to go somewhere it's to the doctors and back home.

Any help we can get would be wonderful and we would be so grateful. Thank You, Addie and Laura Heath.
