Disabled RN Seeks Government Grant Money To Better Care For Disabled Parents

I am a 48-year-old disabled RN. I struggle with physical and mental challenges on a minute-to-minute basis.
I have also been on the edge of suicide in the past, but realize my parents would have no one to care for them.
I am in desperate need of financial support for a scooter lift for my vehicle, so that I can get my parents to and from the doctors they both have to see regularly.
My father is recovering from a triple bypass done in March 2010.
My mom is on oxygen 24/7 due to CHF, COPD, and has been recently diagnosed with a nodule in her lungs and new onset of Diabetes.
I am on crutches, due to an old knee injury from work. I have been waiting for a total knee replacement since I was 31 years old.
I have a scooter, but I do my best to walk with one crutch, so that I can help more with my parents.
Is there anyone or anything someone would do to help with providing me with the means for a vehicle scooter lift? I would consider you an Angel in my book and I would greatly appreciate the gesture.
I am in desperate need when I have to push my mom in a wheelchair and watch her cry because I limp due to the pain I experience when walking.
I would greatly appreciate your consideration. Thank you for taking the time to read my woes. Alissa A. Adkins.
