Disabled Man Seeks Grant Money To Save Farm Business

I am a 55-year-old disabled man on Social Security Disability, my main income.
My wife runs the small farm that we have and we have had several years of profits over $15,000 then last year in 2009 we had a loss of $20,000.
Sell the animals and get out of the farm is what we have been trying to do but the economy is so bad, we cannot sell anything even offering them well below what we paid for them.
My wife and I were hoping the farm business would pick up and give us more income for our later years.
In the meantime my disability check cannot pay for the cost of the farm and our personal needs.
Now we are faced with being unable to pay for the feed of the animals and are behind on the farm mortgage payment.
All we need is some operating capital to stay afloat until the economy picks back up.
My wife has tried to find work but at 53 years old and background over the past ten years is farming she doesn't fit into the employment system very well and finding a job has been next to impossible.
A grant of $40,000 would help us to hold on for two years until things pick up again.
