Disabled Man Seeks Government Grant For Business
by Leland Edwards
(Cleveland, Ohio, USA)
In 2003 I worked for a cleaning company and in that time I became the assistant manager at that site. Being totally honest I had some legal problems that resulted in me being incarcerated in 2004.
While incarcerated I had a stroke that did damage to the left side of my body. In that time frame my father died (my mother died in 1998 of cancer).
My father had re-married and his wife sold the home that I had grown up in. Upon my release from the nursing home, I came home to NOTHING.
I feel that if given the chance to start a company of my own I'll be able to have a chance at getting back the home that my parents worked so hard for.
Having my own company will also give me the means to support myself. Not only that but I will be able to hire other people that need and want to be employed.
I would very much like to receive a small business grant to live an independent life.
