Disabled Couple Seeks Government Disability Grant To Provide For Five People

by Lisa Parker
(Haleyville, Alabama, USA)

I have been disabled since 2000 due to an inherited back (bone) disorder called DDD.

My husband had a good job till he became disabled in 2006 and we have been struggling with our bills.

Our house has been in foreclosure twice. By the Grace of GOD we managed to save it. We have taken in our granddaughter, nephew and a cousin.

This makes for a total of five people to provide for on a single SSI income of only $674 per month.

I am in desperate need to find a grant that will allow me to pay of my mortgage, and put some back to pay utilities.

If anyone knows of any program that helps people like us please let me know.
