Disabled 57 Year Old Man Seeks Vehicle Grant Money To Support Livelihood

by Ronald Houseweart
(Monroe, Wisconsin, USA)

I have been using a two-wheel drive 1984 ford F150 to make and sell firewood in our area. I need a 3/4 ton 4-wheel drive truck to continue supporting myself and my wife.

The 2-wheel drive truck does not enable me to get deep in the woods where the firewood can be retrieved easily.

I have been doing this since 2005. I am 57 years old and disabled, which means I can only work so many hours in a day. I can't work any job requiring me to do an 8-hour shift every day.

I also repair small engines, but due to too much competition here, it's not very lucrative. Please try to see my dilemma, and help me out.

Family nearby?
by: tyshawayah

I would say if you have family or friends you guys take a couple of trucks up, load wood and move it to a more accessible area for you. Or you could roust up some friends and tell them you'll BBQ if they go do the work and bring the wood to your site? How close is your community? Good luck!
