Looking For Help To Finish Degree Studies
I'm a disabled 31-year-old seeking government education grants to cover school costs.
I've been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis, which I endured while serving eight years in the United States Naval service from March of 2000 until March 2008.
Since being released, I've had ACL reconstruction surgery, and a portion of my meniscus removed. It makes it hard for me to function on a daily basis due to the constant pain I suffer during the day and night hours.
My doctors stated that I am the youngest person they've seen having this. I cannot sit, stand and at times walk around for long periods of time without taking pain pills to get through normal daily life activities.
Right now where I live in Jacksonville, Florida the job doesn't cover my bills. I have to live paycheck to paycheck in order to make ends meet. Sometimes I have to give up eating just so I won't be sent to a collection agency.
I am seeking a grant to help me with personal bills while I am working for a temp agency and going to school full time to finish my degree. A grant for education or disabilities or anything, would help
All I ever wanted to do was complete my Bachelor of Science with applied management degree so I can make a better life for myself. So if I can please get some type of help, it would be a big relief for me.
