Diabetes Disabled Man Seeks Grant Money For Medical Expenses

by Donnie
(Murphy, NC, USA)

I discovered in 2001 that I was diabetic. After eight surgeries, I was now legally blind and had to go on disability and move back in with my elderly parents.

Not being able to drive, I began working part time in a local home improvement center.

In 2008, I met and fell in love with a girl I met at work.

Soon after, the diabetes, which had taken most of my sight, began affecting my kidneys. I had to start dialysis.

Although I'm still working, I have to miss quite a few days. I married my wife in April of 2010, and we recently bought a house.

Although I work as much as I can, and my wife is working two jobs, things are difficult. My medications and medical expenses make it difficult.

I need help and would appreciate anything you can direct me to.
