Daughter Seeks Grant Money For Cancer Stricken Mother And Disabled Father

by Joanne
(Roosevelt, Utah, USA)

My mom has raised 6 kids on her own. She was a very hard worker. My mom got sick at work one day, and we thought that is was just the flu. She refused to go to the doctor.

That was 2-1/2 years ago. We found out that she has lung cancer. The doctor started her on a different treatment where she was a guinea pig.

The cancer went into remission. Then 1-1/2 years later it started to spread elsewhere in her body.

She quit work one week after her last radiation treatment.

She now has a big worry about paying her bills, My stepdad has been disabled for many years and has not been able to work.

They are both in bad health. I have been trying to help them with their bills and then mine get behind which is no good.

I have been trying to find a place where I can get help with paying their medical bills but have not found any.

My older siblings have both passed on, my sister of cancer, and my brother of a car accident. My younger brothers have no extra money to help me.

My parents are both worried about their funerals as well. I have no idea of how I am going to come up with the money for that as well.
