Brothers Disabled By 357 Magnum Gunshot Wounds Seek Debt Relief

On august 24, 2008, my brother and I got shot with a 357 Magnum. The resulting disabilities have ruined us financially, forcing us to seek debt relief.
I got shot two times above my knee in my left leg. It shattered my femur bone and I have a rod running from my knee to my thigh.
I have some nerve damage and I also have foot drop, I have to wear a brace at all time.
I worked for 32 years and now I am not able to work because I am having problems.
My brother got shot in the face and the doctor had to restructure his face. He stayed in a coma for a month or more.
We both tried for disability and were denied. We appealed it but we haven't heard anything from it as of yet.
We don't have any kind of income. I am in bankruptcy and I am behind because I don't have the money to pay it.
The only thing that we get is food stamps. Please help us. We don't want to lose our home because we don't have anywhere else to go.
