Brain Damaged Man Seeks Government Grant To Restore Lost Business

by James H.
(McClain County, Oklahoma, USA)

After turning 30 in May of 1985, I started and built, a family restaurant, a general contracting construction business and trucking company.

Living in a very small town in central Oklahoma. I was the elected mayor and fire chief.

Father to two lovely boy and girl, in July I sustained serious brain damage from an auto accident.

In October I got out of my stuporous condition. I was in rehab in Oklahoma City learning to walk again.

That year I only worked till July of that year. I employed over seven full-time employees that got paid every Friday.

When I came to in October I found everything I had built was all gone, trucking and construction tools sold at auction.

I grossed over $86,000. I've been trying to start over but can't get any backing being on disability.

Bankers just giggle now. I need to finish my rural developing I had started in the 70s and 80s. Sincerely, Still kicking, 54-year-old die-hard.
