Bipolar Disabled Man Seeks Government Grant For Debt Relief

by John Clark
(Long Beach, CA, USA)

The Kids and Me

The Kids and Me

I was born in New Jersey and live in California. I have always felt different from my brother and sister and later on realized that I needed to seek professional help.

I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which has caused things to be a little tough. I grew up getting beatings and watched my father beat and torture my mother.

I am now a father of three children and rely on SSI to pay all the bills. I want to start my own business detailing and painting and eventually own a home.

I am currently enrolled in Long Beach City College and my major is Business and I plan to be successful. My disability has hurt me but I refuse to give up on making a better life for my wife and children.

Our bills are tight and my car was just totaled by an uninsured motorist, which does not help matters much.

On top of that my wife suffers from anxiety about our current financial status. If there is help out there, our family would appreciate it.
