US Government Grant Programs

Increase the chances of getting your fair share of available government grants. Submit your story here.
Whether you're disabled or not,
you deserve a grant today!

The government grant assistance we provide here is mainly for US residents. If you're from outside the US, you can still tell your story. It's just that it's less likely to get noticed by non-US funding agencies.

Including grants for the disabled, every year over $1,000,000,000,000 (that's trillion) worth of free government grants are given out to over 30,000,000 (that's million) people!

Did you know that available government grants for disabled people and for most other purposes usually do NOT have to be repaid! That's the basic definition of a grant. A government loan is different. Like any loan it needs to be repaid.

But we're not talking about government loans here, so why not grab your share of all the available government grants? Act now and get what's rightfully yours. If you don't, someone else will!

Available government grants include more than just money. They can include free counseling, free books, free equipment, and so on. You can find just about everything you need to make the world a more accessible place.

But Will I Really See Results?

Increase the chances of getting your fair share of available government grants. Submit your story here.
There's a right way and a wrong way to get aid. Take action. Don't give up hope. Let us help you. Start by telling your story here.

We've been asked, "Does anyone ever receive assistance going this route; if so, how?" Great question. Right to the point. The short answer is "YES!"

Example 1. In the first few weeks after this page went up, several people were able to get help. We showed a desperate woman how she could access free resources to write the tell-all book that's been in her head for years.

Example 2. After seeing how many people were in dire financial straits due primarily to credit card debt, we were able to find a credit counseling service that adheres completely to the requirements of the Federal Trade Commission. You can see the result at our Consumer Credit Counselors page.

Example 3. We know that folks are having a hard time just buying groceries. So we asked a friend of Accessible.Org, Sarah Freeman, who is bipolar-disabled herself, to give us some tips on buying frugally while at the same time getting maximum nutrition. Go to our Nutrients in Foods page and start saving on your next visit to the food store.

Example 4. A veteran and single mom sent in her story about not getting the VA benefits she was entitled to. Well, her Kentucky VA advocate, who was wanting to contact her, Googled her and found her story here at Accessible.Org and posted a comment saying here's how to reach me!

As to actually getting available government grants, we don't hear from folks about their successes. But that's okay, our goal is to provide honest non-hyped information about the process.

For example, you can get the complete lowdown on the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance CFDA right here on this Accessible.Org site. There's no hype or misleading information, only an honest, straightforward description of what's involved in dealing with the CFDA.

We Know It's Not Easy

Getting even a penny from all the available government grants is NOT an easy thing to do. Many people are in situations that don't match the mission of existing granting agencies. Or if there is an agency matching the situation, it's really hard for most of us to identify it.

But there are available government grants for such things as housing, transportation, education, and so on. It's important to remain positive and to take some specific action.

What we're offering here is to help with those first steps and in some cases, like the Consumer Credit Counselors we found, to provide real solutions to real problems, real help that makes the situation better, not worse.

So we really encourage you to let us help you with those first steps by telling your story here. If you do, you can be sure you're not just doing something; you're doing something right. You know from the searching you've done that you won't find any other place on the Internet that makes such help available. Right?

Your Story In The Oval Office?

Did you know that you can write to the White House and that your letter could possibly end up on the desk of President Obama himself? That's right! And we can help you get it there! But please view this White House video completely before reading the rest of this page.

The basic mission of Accessible.Org is to help those in need, especially the disabled. There are many companies offering so-called help, but most only want to line their own pockets. We know that most visitors to this page are in dire financial straits, so what we offer is designed to get maximum results without costing you a penny. Read on...

Here's how we can help. We review every single submission to be sure that visitors read only interesting, original material. We will also edit your contribution as needed to polish up the wording and correct any spelling and grammatical errors.

This is with a view to giving you something good enough to send even to the White House, which responds to every message it receives. As shown in the video, President Obama has committed to reading 10 letters a day selected from the thousands received.

Yours could be one of them! Increase the chances of getting your story known, even to the President himself. Just submit your story here and you'll receive information on how best to contact the White House.

A Typical Grant-Seeking Story

Available government grants are given out for either personal or business reasons. Check out this sample story of a woman making her case for available government grants to help her get an epilepsy seizure dog.

Government Grant For Epilepsy

I am 28 years old and have lived the last 10 years with severe epilepsy. Fearing it to get worse, I'm writing now to ask for help getting a government disability grant. I have spent many years on foundation waiting lists for the chance to get help to prevent more broken bones, more scars, more ambulance rides, and the chance to know before a seizure occurs.

My family and I hope to work with one of the many foundations we applied to years ago for help. The foundation works with and trains magnificent animals. They have medical dogs, seizure dogs and companion dogs help improve the lives of many different kinds of people.

Many disabled people such as myself sill have a better life -- but at a steep financial cost to the average person. After having been on the foundation list for over two years, I had almost given up hope of being able to go places without worrying about my seizures and who I could get to go with me that knew what to do in case of one.

Now I have hope. It's very limited, but still there. Due to being disabled and found unable to work, my income is very limited. The finances of my family are also limited as well. I've experienced broken bones, surgical testing of the brain, traveling to different states for testing, surgical implantation and removal of a nerve stimulator that was supposed to help control the seizures at no avail. This seems like my last and only hope.

For us to come up with the funds of $15,000 is not possible. My family and I would be very appreciative of any financial assistance or help in getting available government grants for epilepsy. We will always remember those who helped provide this chance at a better life by helping to purchase this magnificent dog. Thank you for your time and concern.

Keeping It Real... And Honest

Increase the chances of getting your fair share of available government grants. Submit your story here.
Your story must be truthful. Frauds are eventually exposed.

There have been several proposed comments suggesting that some stories don't tell the whole story, so to speak.

We assume that when people post their stories here, they are telling the untarnished, unembellished, unskewed truth.

Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to check everything that is submitted. And we don't have the resources to check disputes about the truth of a story.

That said, if anyone knows for sure that a story posted here is not the whole truth, please write to us through the Contact Us page with facts that will allow us to verify it.

If we find that a story submitted misrepresents the truth, we will delete it. Thanks to all for your valued cooperation!
