Assault Disabled Father Seeks Government Business Grant For Harley Dealership

by Todd
(Lockport, NY, USA)

I am a single father of a 6-year-old little girl. In 2006 I was brutally assaulted and left with a 3% chance of survival.

My attacker was the "boyfriend" of the mother of my child, a woman that I had been with for 13 years.

She was unhappy that I had gained custody of our daughter. We split due to her unfaithfulness and she had me assaulted because of it.

After receiving emergency brain surgery, having my face rebuilt with eight steel plates and 36 screws, being in a coma for a month and undergoing extensive rehabilitation, I was eventually released from the hospital.

I am now on permanent disability and unable to obtain employment. The meager income I receive from disability each month doesn't even cover what I need to pay my bills.

I have worked hard all my life and enjoy being able to work and provide for myself, and my daughter.

I have always had a passion for motorcycles especially Harley Davidsons and have always thought about combining my love of bikes with a way to earn a living.

I have done research into opening my own Harley Davidson dealership but without some funding this would be impossible.

To be able to open a dealership in my area would allow for job growth, bringing business to the area, including the tourist trade since Harley is a world-known name.

This would allow me to provide for myself, and my daughter, become a contributing member of the community, and stimulate the local economy, all the while doing something that has been a passion and a lifestyle for most of my life.

It would be something I could leave to my daughter and ensure she has something to always be able to count on.

I am really hopeful that you would consider my proposal so that I can start my life over again in a meaningful way doing something that I know and love.
