Angel Annie With Cerebral Palsy Needs A Government Grant For A Wheelchair Minivan

by Single Mom

Angel Annie Needs A Minivan

Angel Annie Needs A Minivan

I'm a single mother of three boys 12, 11 and 6 and a angel we call Annie. Annie has cerebral palsy and a lung disorder. She needs oxygen 24 hours a day. Annie has 50 to 150 seizures in a day.

She is nine but just like a new-born baby. Annie needs me for everything. She is in a wheelchair and cannot walk or talk.

When annie was smaller and her wheelchair was smaller we took her everywhere with us. But now she is bigger and weighs 57 pounds, I can't lift her any more. Her wheelchair wont fit in my car.

I need help! I need a wheelchair minivan so Annie can be with her brothers and me. I don't know were to go or even start? I need a grant. I don't have the money to buy a van all by myself.

Can still use your help, April
by: annies mom

Hi April, I just got your post. If your still available to work on finding a way for Annie's van I would greatly love it. Bless you. Thanks! Annie's mom.

Maybe I Can Help
by: April

I'm not working myself due to disability which leaves my day free for using the Internet. I can research different ways for you to try to get a van. If you want me to help, I can try my best. Leave a comment here for me.

I know how you feel!
by: Anonymous

Hey there. Believe me when I say I know how you feel. My little sister Gaby was the exact same way. She had cerebral palsy, couldn't walk, talk or understand anything. And she also had hundreds of seizures a day. (John Hopkins cured that some! Check them out!) Anyway, I will pray for you. By the way, Annie is very beautiful and looks like my sister so much. She also had long red hair, and her hands went out to the side the same way. We called her princess Gaby!

Pray, Pray, Pray!
by: Anonymous

I am doing a report on cerebral palsy and have a couple of relatives with this disease. It is hard on our family and even harder on our hearts. I really hope you get your van so Annie can make the most of things. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

OMG
by: really sad, hurtful

That is sad. If I was older I would help you with her. I feel really bad for you and your family. I hope everything works out. People? please try to help this little girl and her family. They need it. What if this was your kid? How would you feel? When I read this I cried for hours and kept looking at her and thinking what the little angel goes through. It's hurtful when you have a little child like this who can't do anything. Take a walk in her mother's shoes. She knows how it feels. What about all the other people out there that have this. I'm only 13 and it hurts me. It's just really sad. She will be in my prayers. Love, Izzy.
