Almost Paralyzed 28 Year Old Man Seeks Government Grant To Reset Life

by Brian Gorder
(Florence, Oregon, USA)

Well here goes nothing... I'm looking for government grant money or anything like that to help me get my life back on track.

Two years ago due to my weight and degenerative disc disease a disc in my back ruptured damaging some nerves that has given me decreased feeling in my left extremity.

I fought for disability because my doctors felt I could no longer work. I was over 400 pounds and since January 2010 I have lost 200 lbs.

I had gastric bypass on April 27, 2010.

I want to start living my life now and I feel that I don't make enough money to do it.

I would like to be able to relocate to Portland, Oregon so I can start attending Clackamas Community College.

I made some mistakes in my past and my driver's license was suspended. I want some help getting it back.

Then I can start doing something productive with my life.

Then hopefully when my doctors say I am at the weight they want me to be they can perform the surgery needed to correct the 5 other discs in my back that need to be fixed.

If I could be pointed toward a government grant or any similar help, I would really appreciate it.
