Accident Disabled Man Seeks Grant Money For Towing Business

by Bryan Llewellyn
(Florida)

Seven years ago I was permanently disabled in a work related accident in the state of New York. Now I'm looking for some grant money for a towing business.

After numerous surgeries, I ended up with so much metal in my body that I could no longer live in a cold climate. My settlement was $100,000.

Two and a half years ago, my wife and I moved to Florida. While I am off of narcotic pain medications, I am still unable to work, and am 100% disabled.

My wife was unable to find a job that was even close to her pay scale, and is currently earning less than half of her former salary.

We are having trouble financially, having difficulty paying our mortgage and monthly utility bills. I am interested in buying a business that I can run, to assist in the household finances.

I would like to own a towing company, which would include a tow truck, a flat bed, and a pickup for roadside assistance. This business would employ three people.

Because of our income to debt ratio, we are unable to secure a traditional loan.

I would appreciate any assistance in finding a government grant for the disabled so that I can be productive and contribute to my household.
