Accident Disabled Couple Seeks Grant Money For Debt Relief

by Kyle Toureen
(Arvada, CO, USA)

My name is Kyle and three years ago I was in an auto accident that left me paralyzed from the waist down.

Besides the physical and mental obstacles, money has become a serious problem. Between medical bills, not being able to work fulltime and everyday bills I am left in debt and still getting more bills.

My girlfriend was snowboarding about a year ago and wrecked breaking her back at the same level as me leaving her paralyzed as well.

She did not have insurance so she is paying out way more than SSI pays her. I am also trying to help her out with some of her medical bills and trying to help her cope with everything.

This has also put a real strain on my parents who are trying to help me, as well as my sister and her family.

Any amount of money would help so much right now just to try to pay down credit cards, utilities, medical or mortgage.

I'm sure there are others applying who are worse off than I am but I do feel that I could really use so help to try to get my life back on track.

Thank you for you time. Kyle Toureen.
