58-Year-Old Disabled Widow Seeks Government Grant For Mother-In-Law Suite

I am a 58-year-old widow with myelodysplastic syndrome. I have lived alone for as long as I can. I am now to the point that I spend most of my day in bed, as I am so weak.
I must go weekly for blood tests and monthly transfusions. I have become allergic to the treatments that I was taking so for now I am not taking anything.
I have had to move in with my daughter and her family and her house is so small that we are all under each other.
They want to build me a separate suite so that I can have not only some privacy but I can feel independent to an extent.
They do have room in the back yard. They would like to build me a master suite with a larger than normal walk-in shower so I can use a chair. A kitchen would be nice but not necessary.
A refrigerator and counter and cabinets would be great as I need to keep some medicines cold and I would not to go into the kitchen and potentially wake anyone up.
I will have to live with my daughter for the remainder of my life and having my own "place" would be a blessing. They have two children and I am taking my granddaughter's room now and that is not acceptable at all.
They have financial problems so if I could get a grant to do the remodeling to the house it would be best.
If there is anyone who can help us to accomplish our goal I would like to hear from you very much.
